    Default Anyone seen:

a double hook single head jig? Basically a jig with 2 hooks coming out in different directions? I do ask for a reason, I do a lot of herring and baitfish fishing here and a double hook in a really small jig head would save a lot of time because you should be able to catch 2 at a time on them. Not to mention when you fish for the bait fish you will have predatory fish hit the rig and rip off the bait fish. This might allow for a hook up and different ways to fish for baitfish.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

I've seen something somewhere, give me a day to look through my magazines.

But....... Would guess you could solder an aberdeen hook on each end of a willow spinner blade and put a hole in the side of the blade for an o-ring? The solder would give it weight, but always can add some more on your line above the jiggy thingy miggy. Will look for the real thing tho.

Woo-Hoo! Found it and was close to the top of my pile of mags. February, 2009 - In-Fisherman.

Heads Or Tails - Pulled this pic from their site.

Seems a bit pricey at $1 a pop, but think it's brand new, maybe copyrighted or whatever.... no competition yet to keep their price in check.

If you go to their "lure facts" page, it gives the sizing information. They don't really have what the weight is, just goes by hook size???? I remember seeing it and thinking it would be good for ice fishing, kinda similar to a jigging rapala in concept.

That is close but this is more what I want.

This allows you to tie 2 jigs on them and work it like a cluster of leeches or something like that. Can only imagine how many double hook ups one might get. Those pictured don't look like you can tie much of a tig on them.

Take a look in Janns catalog or on line. In the 2010 catalog on page 41

they have a deal like you're talking. Comes in hook sizes 3/0, 4/0 and 5/0

3.99 a 2 pak. If you go online at jannsnetcraft.com, there is an item number
search....punch in 812-300 and it will show you a pic and pricing.

Fiska's (I think that is the name) has a ice lure similar in shape to the pic Attica posted - but it is small - like # 12/14/16 hooks. I got a couple in my ice box. I DAG's Fiska's - came up w/ references to them - but no links to the company. They are kind of spendy, and the small hooks they have break fairly easily.

I got a $30 Gander Mtn gift from Christmas that is laying on the closet shelf...
the manf of those jigs (your pics) says they are avail at Gander....hmmm ....

A little closer but still not there. Thanks grump. Oh well, chances are it would snag up way too much anyway but was a thought, would make a really nice worm rig for fishing for large fish using large nightcrawlers.
