    Default Wild Side

As a new tier I spend all my time trying to tie a nice functional jig. So I took a break today and took a Walk on the Wild Side. This jig is meant to be humorous .

It will catch fish,it's not bad looking either. You need to give yourself more credit,I like a colorful tail, gives the fish a better chance to see it.

Nothin humorus about that puppy! Kinda looks like a modified electric chicken.
You did a great job on the head and eyes. I do that myself everyonce in a while.....take leftover scraps and tie a really wild tail. Yes, they do catch fish.
That's the great thing about tying your own jigs! It can be whatever you want it to be...no following tradition. You'd be surprised at how many fish I've caught on a far out, outside the box jig.
