    Default 1/16 oz. Jig Mold???

I'm looking to buy a 1/16 oz. minnow / tri-head mold with collar. Do-It has one, but only 4 cavities are 1/16, the other 4 are 1/32. I'd like for all 8 to be 1/16 if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

there is a guy in smithfield va. named shawn collins, and he makes the best molds, custom or from his list. He took a couple months to get me my mold, and it was already in his catalogue, but there is no better hand pour mold anywhere. the only thing that I don't like is the aircraft billet aluminum he uses doesn't heat up like an alloy aluminum do-it mold. google his site at shawn collins custom molds. we emailed back and forth a few times before I ordered.

    Default mold

Thats a tough one. You best bet is going to be a custom hinged mold like the shawn collins, Brear baits, maybe Del mart. Your probably talking at least $125 but there is also a possibility you could get maybe a 3/32 cavity also. The easiest bet is to get a do-it or make friends with a machinist. One of the members here was making molds recently also.

The nearest thing I can find is a Hilts Mold

Go to Hilts Molds: quality fishing tackle making products. & check out round head jigs

    Hope that helps

JSC ( i have a couple of Hilts molds and I really like them)

Why not buy two Do-It molds and you will have 8 cavities for less than $60?

Shawn does outstanding work (have a football mold made by him) but you can't get a hold of him.... Tried to have five molds cut - wanted to pay with a credit card and couldn't get a call back. Use to think quality was worth waiting for but also think that customer service is awfully important as well.

Having a local do mine molds now - he did the "Phlatapus" and is working on a Chub.
