Very nice ties.I'm guessing the collar on the jigs help give it that fuller look. You spend a lot of time with those jigheads.Sweet !!!!!

Here are a few simple hair jigs that I tied recently.
Materials:
- 1/16 or 1/32-oz. ball head (collared) with #4 hook.
- White craft fur.
- UTC Ultra Thread (red) - 70 denier.
- Pink acrylic craft paint.
- Clear glitter nail polish (adds sparkle to the jig head).
- White and black acrylic paint for eyes.
- Devcon 2T Epoxy for topcoat (protective finish).
An offshoot of an easy-to-tie pattern that has worked for me.

Nice looking jigs, remind me of the old Doll Flys. JungleJim Alot of guys I know here in Vermont that tie smallie jigs actually like the barb collared jigs and cut most of the tip on the barb off and use it as a thread stop to keep the thread from slipping.

Fatman, I still have some white and yellow doll flies, and found 2 or 3 cards of black uns at the flea market. Elmer was his name I believe and he passed away this past spring. A loss to us that used his jigs for many years.
Pup, them some clean ties. Real good work on the heads for sure.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
awesome looking jigs

Have a few of the old Doll's myself, now I wish I had a couple of big chunks of Polar Bear Hair to tie them with.
