    Default Few jigs I tied up tonight


    Well tied over 50 jigs tonight long night went fairly quick tied a few different pattern in different head sizes I am going to try to fish these next week. Who knows maybe something will bite em Over last couple nights i knocked out about 85 jigs and have about 30 more I hope to get done before friday....
    What do you think...

    I say that the bottom one on the left and the 2nd and 3rd on the right are the getters.They all look great.I don't like red ties,have never seen anything that color in any lake,maybe a hint of red.JMO

    LedHed uses these nubby tacks

    Cabela's Double Nubby Tack® Fly Boxes

    These ripple foams work well for me.

    I'd say try the nubby tacks because they are supposed to last longer. I'm about to buy a couple myself. When you use the foam, you destroy it over time because you stick the hook and barb in and pull it out constantly.

    And you don't have to get them from Cabela's- you can find them at BassPro and any other fly shop. These are just some examples of kinds of fly boxes. The price is right at Cabela's though

    I will be heading to a Cabelas and BassProShop when traveling sunday will have to check them out
