Posting jig pictures

We've always had problems posting pictures on here it seems like I can post pictures on my aviator in a personal picture of myself but when it comes to posting pictures on post it doesn't work is it possible for the site to make it simpler similar to our aviator it is very easy to post pictures very simple and very fast on the aviator it should be that way when we post pictures I'll post

Do you use photobucket? If not, the account is free and simple to use. You just download pics from your computer in "my documents" or "my pictures" or wherever to photobucket.com, then copy the HTML code of whatever pic you want to post, paste it in the text box here, write some commentary about the photo in the text box, and you're set.

Bob we have already talked about Photobucket and it is very easy to use. Once you have pictures on there just copy the bottom link and paste it here.

Thanks guys when we get to working we definitely will post pictures up my work here we just come up with a new jig the only way that you can see it in My aviator too small but thanks guys

Snake River.... I think I remember you saying you had a business possibly selling jigs, I may be way off here, I'm kinda slow sometimes. :D

If you do have a website, and update your own site, I can give you a way to use one of your webpages to post picts and it's pretty simple. Let me know and I can PM you the instructions.......

atticafish we do not have a website yes we do sell jigs we had a good season this year I couldn't keep them tied up fast enough it's something minor that I'm doing we are following instructions from skip in the above also we made a copy of how to load pictures in two here off of photo bucket will keep trying it's something really simple I know any five year old can do it but when it comes to an old man our brains sometimes do not work we just know how to tie jigs don't know nothing about computers

... the HTML is turned off, on this site. You should always use the IMG Code or Direct Link (when using Photobucket) !!

Here's what the four choices, of Photobucket, give you :

Email & IM = link to pic, with ads, in a seperate window

Direct Link = picture, in a seperate window, alone (no ads)

HTML Code = just code (no pic)

IMG Code = picture in your message/post

It is requested that you not use Email/IM ... because some of the ads are not allowed on this site. HTML will not give you a picture, just a long line of code. Direct Link is OK to use, but requires the viewer to click on the link before being able to see the picture. IMG Code will put the picture right here in your message, and is viewable without any added steps to follow ... so it's the recommended choice.

When using Photobucket (or any other hosting site) ... it is recommended that you upload your pictures to that site, at the size option of 640x480 pixels (or similar size, if using another hosting site). This is the largest size recommended for use on this site. Smaller pics don't show detail as well, and larger pics use more site resources (and take dial-up users a long time to load).

Bob if all the deleted post were you trying to post a picture that didn't work there is no need to delete it and do another one. Just edit it to try again on same post?
