Now I guess I should say when I tie a jig that the thread shows then I use a Flex type glue I make. I don't use my thinned lacquer then, but I could.

Hey, we were all first timers at one time. Don't let that bother you, the more you tie the better you get. These guys are great for helping answer all
our questions. After all, jig tying is supposed to be fun and the fish don't
care if the chenille is too long, or the colors are weird, or the hair isn't straight, that will come from experience. If I did try to copy a jig some else
made, chances are it wouldn't look the same anyway!!!This site is all about sharing, put some ideas in, take some out. Even the guys that sell jigs
for income are very helpful if you have a problem. So, join the fun RC and
play with it, ask questions and catch some fish on those homemade
jobbers!!!;)

I use hard as nails nail polish,works on the thread and jig heads..
Don't worry about Copies.
Just tie-um up and have fun:D
