I think it's a very good idea to make a sticky of the members' tried and true jig patterns to allow for quick and easy access, both for current and future members alike. There are several members who would like to have a no-reply, picture-only thread in the sticky section, and there are only good reasons to have one. In fact, I can't think of a single reason why this is a bad idea. One more sticky wouldn't hurt, and if it did, perhaps we could take a vote and replace one of the stickies that already exist. Also, future members would not have easy access to the thread because they would not have it bookmarked.

It would be great for all members to share pictures and "recipes" of jigs that they created; it would even add another dimension to the fellowship that we have here on Crappie.Com and the Jig Tying board. Currently, if a jig tyer wants to easily browse for ideas, pattern, and color combinations, he or she is forced to painstakingly scroll through all of the threads, open each one, hope it's a picture, and move on, or the jig tyer has to go to someone's personal jig business website, and there's no point in doing that because the jig tyer is tying his own jigs.

Remember, this board is about people who come together to share information and learn how to make their own jigs. Let's make it easier to share that information. All those who agree with this, please speak up.
