dont know bout as good as a freckle"but defiantly yellows are a sweeter meat"and firmer"yes by far.;)
Great sized fish!!! Now on the yellow perch he'd get mounted!!!!!!! I like the smaller perch 9-12 inchs they taste better and yeah the flesh is firmer but they definately don't taste the same.
