Default A Different Type of Jig Tie...Idea from a Pet Shop

Strolled through a pet shop recently, when I saw this interesting fish.

    Black Moor Goldfish

Then, I came up with the idea to tie one as a novelty. Here it is from different angles.

    Materials:

    • A 1/16-ounce ball head jig with #4 hook.
    • Black and clear nail polish.
    • Googly craft eyes.
    • UTC Ultra Thread - 140 denier.
    • Lion Suede chenille - black.
    • Muench chenille - iridescent beige.
    • Black marabou feathers.
    • Krystal Flash - gold.
    • Devcon 2T Epoxy.
    • Nailene Ultra Quick Nail Glue.

    Thanks guys.

I sometimes like to create a jig purely for novelty. However, I think I'll try to familiarize a few bass and crappie with this one, just the same as I try to do with my other jigs. :D

Lately I've been tying jigs with dorsal fins and the marabou over the back is a nice looking dorsal. Also like the lighter colored belly like real fish have.
