Had a few RR's with messed up swivels so took off the willow blades, drilled an extra hole at the other end, added a split ring or snap and hooked on a streamer. I really like the snap idea to be able to change color of the trailer, can be done with the split rings if your hook eyes are big enough also. The willow blades have excellent action with one small split shot added 16" up for casting. The colorado blades need a bit more weight to get them to dance.

Any thoughts?? Will the single hook work or should I be using only trebles? I do have one river to fish these for smallies with no trebles allowed till end of July.... and the single hook is muuuuuch easier to tie than the treble.

    AF,
I think the single hook would be good enough.IMHO. All a treble hook is good for is to git in my hand

Stick with the single hook much easier to deal with.
