I've looking for a place to buy a set of hemastats locally. I've tried Wal-Mart, CVS and Walgreens but no avail.
I find all kinds on the internet but looking for them in a store. Any ideas?

always ready to go fishing
... at any tackle shop that has a fly fishing section. You'd also probably find them at any medical supply business (but you'll pay top dollar, in either place).
You may find them at Pet Shops, Vet Supplies, Craft/Hobby shops, and maybe even at Tool Warehouse type stores. (but I'd call before going)
I'm pretty sure Cabela's, Bass Pro Shops, Dicks Sporting Goods, Tackle Warehouse, and places like them will have "some" kind of hemostat/forceps ... sometimes seperate, sometimes in a pkg deal with other "fishing related instruments". I think I've seen them at Wal-Mart ... the 10" ones ... but, since I already have some, I didn't check them out too closely. :p
Average price for a 5.5in pair of locking hemostat forceps (stainless steel) should run around the $5-$8 range.
