I think it took me a bit over 8 hours I can't remember. Would have been easier to keep them even more consistent had the materials been a bit more consistent. It was definitely a challenge and I enjoyed the challenge, now I want to get on to the next swap!
Excellent job everyone, once again!

It took me about 14 hours or so for the ones I submitted. Maybe a total of 18 hours for all I tied, tore apart and retied or kept because they turned out too far off or the hair was simply too unruly.
Doubt mine will win any prizes but I bet they will catch fish. For those that are actually gonna use them, let me know if you catch anything on them after we know who made which ones.

Just want to say this ahead of time; whoever wins this thing should be one proud jig tier. I think this swap has some of the highest quality jigs in it that I have ever seen. My hat is off to you all. Thanks for letting me have my name listed on the same page and for letting my jig sit beside some true works of art. There is alot of inspiration in the pics that FF is posting....makes you say,"man I just gotta practice more I want to be able to make a jig like that". Astounding work folks.................brim

I agree people went all out this swap and again I thank you all.
FF please send any extras of mine to Cane Pole also
and as far as time I think it took me more then 8 hours just to paint my heads lol.

Don't remember how many hours"at least a week" to make"then at least 2 weeks to find after misplacing them after spending an entire weekend organizing my materials and tools"lol that were a very interesting time for me i assure you...Thanks again for the mamories:rolleyes:

Mine took about 1/2 hr pouring and painting.Due to my short attention span tying time was about 2 hours, less than 5 minutes per jig. It took hours of tying and a three day fishing trip to come up with the right combination before I tied the first swap jig.I guess that means it took over 3 days cuz research on the water counts, too.

hey flat tried to call you I mailed them out saturday!!! this is the 3rd time this has happened now with jigs!!!! I'm going to make some more tonight and see if I can overnite in the morning. If the others come in you just keep them. So sorry guys, yall if you want flat can just mail everybodys out tomorrow and leave me out. Bo

Sounds like the snail mail struck again. It's happened to me as well more than a few times.

That was the hard apart, finding out exactly what worked the way I wanted it to work in water. Trying to find the right lengths was a bear to say the least. I must have spent the better part of 20 hours simply tying, retying, tearing apart and working out the right this and that before tying. Does that count on the time spent tying them?
Still better than my crochets though which took me several months to get just right with everything I did to them. Thought about tying something like that for this swap but I had to try something different. Maybe the next one just for the WWWWOOOOOOWWWW factor.:D
