UG that is correct. I went to post office used there scales attached to the machine to print stamp. Weighs and prints per weight given to computor by scales. I do nothing but put package on scales and push a touch screen and pay, prints stamp and done.

Would you like your outer envelope (w/ the postage due sticker) back so that you can have a chat w/ the post master at the office where you did your transaction? I'd love to here that conversation......
Another thought - package up something similar, and mail it to yourself - see how it comes to you. Weigh it at the office where you used the scales, but then mail it from a near by town, so it has to go thru the postal system.

This (postage issue) just gets better - just heard a report on FOX that the Postmaster General is saying that the Postal Service is running deficits ($2.8B per an article I found on MSN), and that they may have to get rid of Saturday delivery in order to reduce/eliminate those....

Where I used to live the postal service would only run by my house 3-4 days a week instead of 6. I got a PO box because of the lack of service.

Old "Brown" picked up the box this week. Should be there Friday if the ice storm doesn't slow it down.
i've been thinking about it uncle just don't know which will have to sleep on it and then decide what to have everyone tie . maybe just put one limitation on them like a feather orsomething like that .
kinda scared but think it will all work out this is great fun. already practicing tieing some more .
