Belva Deer 5-14-11

It was a cold, windy and rainy Lake Belva Deer on Sat. Ended up with 10 nice keepers and many smalls that were thrown back for another day. All fish were caught on mini-mite w/ minnow under a bobber 3-4 ft down around trees closer to the banks in 6-8 ft of water. The surface temp was was prime in the low 60's, but I think the weather was holding them back off the banks.

Thanks Slab Seeker, Im going to Rathbun tomarrow for the rest of the week. If the fishing is slow I may run up to Belva Deer.

GrumpyLoomis let us know how you do down at Rathbun this week. I'm going to be down there Fri thru Sun and it sounds like its going to warm up, but T-storms all weekend.
