Monday a good fellow angler and friend invited me out for a day of fishing on his boat.Being some what familiar with the chosen lake, I put us in a nice cove out of the gusty SW wind and we began our mission.First cast offered a 17" crappie and from there on , the game was on! We got our 2 man limit with 12 to 15 , 16" to 18 1/2" Crappies for each of us,plus we released a guess-ta-ment of 25 to 30 additional fish. The water was 61.3 deg clarity was fair, and the Crappie were in 2 to 4 ft of water in the grass and at the out side edge of the grass. The set up was a beetle spin with a 1/16 oz sickle hook lead head and a "Bobby Garland" 2 1/2" Stroll'R chartruese and electric chicken color. All an all it turned out to be a awesome day on the water with good conversation and exellant fishing. Have some pictures
if I could figure out how to post them or if someone would post them for me.Thanks
