Fished Big Creek on Monday

I was back at BC Monday after work. the wind was a little brisk, but I had to go anyway. I had to retrieve something that I dropped last week. Mission accomplished, then back to the fishing. My brother and nephew were with me, and we quickly decided not to fight the wind and waves, so we fished in a more protected area where the map showed brush piles and rock piles. We didn't catch any crappie, but pulled in four small walleye and one that would have been a keeper! The 15 incher looked like it needed to grow up a little, so I sent him home too.

good to hear someone got out there. It's been a long week for me, with no fishing since Sunday. Busy Monday, funeral Tuesday. Almost went out today, but brrr, it was cold, and really windy, then the rain started. Tomorrow my Truman lake fishing-cousin will be up here from Springfield. I probably won't make it out on the lake tomorrow, but really hoping we can get out Friday and Saturday.
