    Default Lake Lemon 5/24

Small storm cell moved thru over the lake at 5 am and by 7:30 am was on the lake as no more rain today, light winds, light fishing crowd, and by 8:30 sky was breaking to blue and partial sunny. Fishing was slow most of the morning..little to no breeze till 10 am and finally a light breeze putting a ripple in the surface. Water temp started out at 68.5 and by noonish I was seeing 71.5 on graphs. I was trolling crank bait again, tried several colors but finally back to chartreuse being the hot color. Part of the lake was clearing up,,part was so dingy,,the mega 360 center that was supposed to show open water below you was covered with silt or too much pollen cover the Battambang to top not giving you a good pic in some areas of the lake. Kept 24 crappies 10” to 13.75” and 3 yellow perch. to 1.8 mph. Fishing 10’ to as much as 14’ running the cranks about 8-9’ down.
