Found mostly open water (about 30% frozen over) on a local reservoir and was able to launch the boat safely. Fished for 3 hours this afternoon in 35 degree water and managed just shy of 60 fish. Fun start to the year, and I was the only boat on the lake. Fish came on jigs from deep water wintering holes.
