Got on lake at 6am left at noon, at usual people were a bunch of idiots by 1030. Fish didn't even start to hit decent until around then, caught 28 and all under 10 inches except 1 that was 10.5 in.. catching more little fish then Ive ever caught here.
Most fish caught on 1/32 oz weedless jig fished in tree tops in 22-27ft of water just letting jigging pendulum back thru top on tight line, most fish were down 10-15 ft that hit, showed a lot right of bottom but they wouldn't touch a jig. Today some fish were really smacking the jig and in another spot you might just feel a slight tick or weight on line.
Hard to enjoy fishing when you have tubers going by you less then 30 yds, was like being on lake Michigan for awhile.
When we got ready to leave we head back to main ramp and in the big part of lake by the damn there was maybe 5 boats in the whole area, they were all crowded down in the narrow part of the lake where everyone wanted to fish racing back and forth
Had a great time other then the pleasure boaters who have no boat etiquette.
