Decent day

Went bass fishing, ended up catching 5 with the biggest about 3 1/2.

Get out on a hump, kept seeing fish surfacing and thought they were crappie. Turned out I was right, caught 9 keepers (would've been 12, but I tried to horse 3 that were too big to horse) in a 1 1/2 hours. Biggest a bit over 12", and all of them the the thickest crappie I've caught all year. All of them were black crappie, which I think tend to be fatter.

Nice thing was I was using a jig bobber and only fishing about 4' down over 5-12ft. Wish I could've stayed, but the lake I was on got busy with people doing laps.
