    Default tired of the wind

Fished today, caught about 30, kept 18. Don't have power poles or spot lock, so had to stand on the pedal all day. Time I could get one in the livewell I'd be blown off my little spot that was producing.

All in all wasn't a bad day, just cold with the wind blowing.

I just put a new ultrex on my boat. I love the spot lock. I should have had it years ago. It was money well spent. It is only money, right?

I'm considering it, just put a new helix 9 on the bow. The ultrex is interesting, can't decide if I want to spend the money or not. Would have loved to have had it this year, been so windy.

Yeah, I'm staying home tomorrow unless the forecast winds change. I fished for bass at tippy two weekends in a row with winds like that, and it is a bit exhausting.

If I wasn't out of the one tube color I got bit on today I'd probably get up early and try to catch some more crappie, fun this time of the year getting them in 2ft of water.

Maybe as a cheaper option a couple of Minn-Kota deck hands . I have 2 on my boat & love them . This years spring has been pretty crappy to say the least .

I'd never use them, fish for bass most of the time. Power poles are probably how I'll go, just because they'd come in handy now and then.
