Made a run across state line with nephew to check out new set up on his bass boat. Turns out his electronics and new engine were nearly flawless right off the trailer leaving us time to do some engine break in and lake scanning. We saw a small school of crappie off a tree end in 13fow and caught a few on jigs. The next tree up the bank was small but had the finders light up with crappie. We took a few home but left them biting do to darkness. Water temps were 47 to 49. Jigs and plastics in lemon and lime worked well.
