Short trip to Raccoon

Me and son in law got out on lake about 5:30pm and fished until about 7:45, caught 31 crappie and one nice white bass. Kept 12, we had thrown back at least a half dozen real nice ones before he decided he wanted to keep a few.. most were caught 10-16 ft down in 22 ft of water, on little watermelon shad bodies and twister tails on 1/32 or 1/16 oz weedless jigs.. They wanted the jig either vertical with a slight lift fall or cast out to desired depth and let it fall thru strike zone.. probably had at least 30 more get off due to barely getting hooked. All in all a good 2 hrs or so on water.. water temp was back up to 84.5 deg, was down to 81 a couple days ago..
