If you go here, DNR: Indiana's Reservoir Habitat Enhancement Program. Go down to the paragraph that is titled PROJECT LAKE SCHEDULE. DNR and Indiana Bass Fed. is building fish habitat for several lakes as well as IBF is buying bass and releasing them. If you look at the lake map for Monroe, in this area they are dumping all the fish attractors is one of my crappie hot spots I long line jigs and crankbaits all along those creek channels from point to point. Personally, I question why DNR would choose this area of Monroe for propagating bass and not spreading them out. Also, all of the attractors will be placed in this area. These fish attractors will be more to benefit crappie than bass in my opinion. Download the maps for Mansfield and Monroe. In that Monroe area, my best crappie 3 yrs ago was 17.5 inches on the break of the creek channel cranking during the springtime as there are also stumps scattered here and there.
