I realize that there are times when the fish just aren't biting, but I cannot believe that we only caught on small crappie all day. We hauled tons of water with every bait we could find from shallow to deep and from .08 to 2.5 mph.. Here is what the graph showed, and we found several spots like this.

Fish were held up all over the place, but no matter what we did - trolling, vertical jigging, casting, etc - produced a thing. We were on Raccoon Lake and the water was 88 at the surface, but after baking all day my son and I took a quick dip and it was refreshingly cool under the surface.
