    Default Caught my first tagged crappie this morning


    Name: IMG_1391.jpg Views: 673 Size: 100.2 KB. Only went out for a couple hours this morning, trying to beat the Memorial Day water crowd. Picked up a dozen nice crappie but one was tagged. Also picked up a 10lb channel cat on a 12’ rod, nice fight. Name: IMG_1400.jpg Views: 683 Size: 131.4 KB

    strange fish to be tagged. prob some local tagging them for kicks. lol do they still sell those taggers?

    Hardy lake, they started a crappie program earlier this year. I had to google it after I caught it but it said the biologist tagged and asked to have the tags returned for data collection.

    Let me know how you do, it’s been hit and miss, usually more miss than hit. Think I’m starting to figure them out there, been a tough Lake. I call it Hardly since I hardly catch any keeper crappie but hopefully it’s turning around. Use to be better when I was younger.
