Tried to fish today, jigged a bit then trolled crankbaits on Lake Lemmon. Got on the lake at 8 am and left it at 10:15 am. It was pure muddy. You couldn't see any baits a foot down it was so muddy. Fish on the fish finders were in deeper water 9' or deeper to 15' suspended from 4' all the way to the bottom and thick near the Creek channel the closer you got to it. Air temp had dropped to 39 at Bloomington this morning and water temp was 59 with 5-6 mph breeze out of the east. As I pulled the boat out, met the 2 other boats at Lemmon taking out. Both boats were using minnows and never had a hit by any fish like me with artificial. Not one fishie! Pulled up and decided to take the long way home hitting hwy 446 to drive across the causeway at Monroe. Water was pretty perfect looking with lake up now 2.8' and still rising. Couldn't see a mud line anywhere and stopped a Cutright launch, looked at weather bug seeing rain about a hour away and decided not to launch and head home. 5 trucks with trailers sat in the parking lot and one was Tom's Guide Service and that told me, with him fishing and jigging the flooded buck brush he would connect somewhere on crappies as he know the lake. Weatherman is still calling for 2-4 inches and we are now in flood warning. Lake Lemmon will be unfishable for a while as Beanblossom Creek feeds it and will continue to be muddy with more rain and it will take a while for mud to settle. Monroe will eventually muddy up at Cutright if we get slammed with a lot more rain again. Main Lake looked awesome tho so ther would be lots of fishable water this coming weekend. Good Luck!
