Not to sound like a 80's REO Speedwagon hit BUT...Heard it from a friend who, heard it from a friend who, heard it from another.... ANYWAY...
A buddy of mine tells me that he heard from a friend, who was told by someone with the Army Corps of Engineers, that later this spring (after Memorial Day) lake levels at Mississinewa will be well over summer pool due levels at Salamonie being dropped to near winter pool for dam repair. I have talked to others who have heard there are dam issues at Salamonie but thats it, no one knows when repairs are to start or how those repairs will affect levels elsewhere. This all seems somewhat logical to me, levels being up at Roush and Missi due to restricted out flow, but the timing of it all, (why fill just to drain) has me thinking I am being fed a line of $#!T, just trying to get my blood pressure up, knowing Missi is one of my favorite places to fish. Can anyone, in the know or not, shed a little light on this claim?
