    Default 3/24 fishing

Long lined a Whitley County lake 9a-3pm. Took awhile to figure out pattern of course as day warmed became a little easier. 1/16th jig and body dropped to hook and minnow rig worked. Best colors were blueice slider jigs, tuti frutii tube jig, and black pink stingers. Water stained to muddy. Most fish caught 2-3 ft deep over 3 to 5 fow. Moved really slowly.Caught 2 man limit with a big gill thrown in. Most females largest was 13 in. All swimming again for now.

Easy to long line in any depth of water in a float tube LOL. Suspend jigs under floats 20 to 25 yds back.

Use 1/24oz jig. I do it alot. I have good luck around weed beds. But I'm set up to long line off side of boat with long poles.
