Well I'll be (in best gomer pile voice) the crappy in this lake are white n have horizontal stripes on em. Had a blast with the 9 yr old outfishing me n grandpa as usual. The stuff good rocking chair stories are made of anyway. Oh n not one of those other kind. Pulling cranks with the new rod holders. not much else going on.

Been pushing jigs all thru August up till now and tearing them up. Pushing double minnow and minnow and jigs real slow in 12 ft of water around submerged brush

Anyone been out recently? Are the crappie active?

We went there a couple weeks ago and didn't catch any but we didn't spend a lot of time fishing each spot. We mainly tired to explore the lake a bit since it was my first time back there in 12 years. I've heard from a few people that the bite is on though.
