Is there anyone that guides on raccoon lake? if not can someone tell what kind of crappie attractors are in that water. Eveything i have looked at i dont see any stumps or anything that really stick out as to hold crappie.

I have been going to raccoon for about 6 years now on a week fishing trip. Every year we have to find them again.
they are never in the same "hot spot" they were from the last year. The water clarity seems to have a lot to do with it I think. Some of the places I did good are, the north end in the idle zone in the coves on the west side, along the solid rock walls, and at the dam. One year the water was real muddy and we found clearer water at the south end of the lake, we did not kill them but it was the only place we could catch fish. I will be there on the 21st. Are you there now? How is the water clarity and water temp? Also do you have a map of the lake. Some maps have areas marked that have a lot of tree lay downs
