I wasn't there Monday but was on Wednesday. I had my cousin with me. We walked down to the water with a guy who was helpful in showing us locations? Think they drove a white chevy?

Went out to Missy yesterday and bite has slowed down considerably . I saw a lot of people come and then leave in less than an hour and saw very few fish caught. Not sure if the weather has got them turned off or the cooler temps. Plan on going out tomorrow and see if things have picked up. My daughter is going out today, I 'll see what see has to say later today. Anyone else go out this weekend ?

I went out Friday afternoon to a spot that has been producing plenty of fish and never got a bite, few other boats and shore anglers around, no one catching. I think the cold front put them in a funk, heading out now so we'll see.

Glad it wasn't just me . The forecast is all over the place this coming week, hope things pick up again but I'm not holding my breath.

Got out this morning, bite was okay, lots of sorting. River was very low and clear. With the rain coming Thursday it may be the last chance before they start holding back the lake for summer pool. Turned out to be a great spring fishing run after all.

Still trying to figure out where the spring crappie run went to on the river...Seems like every post I read, or every person Ive talked to (myself included) no one is catching much of anything this year on the spring crappie run. Not sure if its the up and down temps or what but the river is down and clear, you would think guys would be having some success out there. Sounds like guys are doing somewhat better in the lake rather than the river..what happened????

I only had the one good trip on the river, the other couple of times i went were bad. We just happened to get lucky the one day and seen a guy who was wading leaving the river with a limit of crappie. We took his spot and it was one after another, 11-13 inch crappie. The kid that was leaving told us that in 2 hours of fishing that day he only had one cast without a strike. I caught a few dink crappie last Sunday in the Resi and those were the first crappie i have caught in there in almost a month. Went back Monday to the same spot and they were already gone. I'm ready for it to pick up in there.
