It's looking like one of those springs....

If you guys wanna fight the crowd, below the dam is on fire. Big fish too. I counted 12 vehicles on the bait shop side when i got there yesterday, couldnt believe it. Normally have that side to myself. I went downstream on the other side. I had 4 fish over 13 and several in the 12 inch range. Some nice white bass mixed in too. I'm taking a buddy tonight to try to get him some fish, just hope i can get a spot as packed as it was yesterday. kyron, i have a buddy who has found over 100 greys the last 2 days in logansport. It's early but if you have the right property they are starting.

Thanks, for the tip on the "greys". As for the spillway, I got to pass, I just can't deal with the crowds. I guess I getting to old LOL.

Not much crowd tonight because they decided to increase the flow out of the dam this afternoon.:banghead Didn't do nearly as good. Was about as good as it gets though yesterday and even the day before i heard, even in the rain. Tried lake up by the dam for a few too, still dead there.

Went to spillway today....dinks,dinks,dinks....but it's better than being at work!

Ha, ha, I hear that. Was it crowded ? I'm going to try up river and lake side Sunday, will report back. The next few days should get that water warmed up, was 45*- 46* on Tuesday, colder than the week before. I get to spend all day putting up a fence, so hope to hear some reports tonight.

Was planning on trying below dam today but i see they have screwed with outflow yet again. Not much water coming out now. Dont know if it will be too low to do any good or not. Resi side has been slow for me lately but might give it another try. Free fishing today so im sure the whole place will be a zoo.

Got into some white bass this morning but soon slowed. Couldn't find the crappie bite, water had warmed to 54* and was quite clear. Bite can only get better from here on out.

Caught a lot of crappie yesterday downstream at the spillway. Sorted thru the dinks and kept 12 fish from 11 to 13 inches. People everywhere!! Saw a lot of people on lake side too as i was driving over the dam. Saw a good report on another site between pearson mill and 13 bridge. They were in a boat spider riggin though.

Buddy and I hit missy yesterday .
We were thirty yards apart and he managed nine keepers and all I could catch were dinks.

I was at Morse this Saturday. Caught a mixed bag of 4 crappie, 2 bluegill, 1 white bass and 2 largemouth
