Nice. Sounds like a very enjoyable trip. Love when the biting is good.

Was on the water by 9 a.m.
Water temp. down in low 50s. There was alot of boats on the water. I think everyone was thinking like me this was going to be the last weekend before lake goes down to winter pool and the weather that was headed for us on Sunday.
Fish were definitely biting. I lost count on how many I actually caught. They were sure eating for the winter. They ranged from 8" - 11". It didn't really matter the bait or color they would hit it all. Mainly used crappie magnets & bobby garlands. All fish were returned to water. Left around 1 p.m. had a good time with the way they were biting. With all the 8-9" crappie being caught the next couple years should be good down there. If only we could get a size limit put on this state. It will be time to start walking the banks until ice on with lake going down to winter pool.
