Lake Map Cards for Indiana

What is the best lake map card going for Indiana lakes? And can they be used in surrounding states on their lakes? I'm considering a new fish finder and if i add gps to it want to hear everybodys opinion.

The fish finder I am thinking of getting will take Lake Insight, Nautic Insight pro and hd, Navionics Hotmaps premium, or Fishing Hotspots software. For indiana, which of these is the better and why?

I would pay attention to the lakes that you primarily fish. For me it is the northern Army Corp reservoirs. Hot maps does have Brookville and Patoka in HD but none of the other AC reservoirs. Hot Maps in HD is not much better than what is loaded on your locator. This is based on my experience with Lakemaster for Wisconsin vs Hot Maps Indiana. The level of detail in Hot Maps does not compare to Lakemaster. That said if you are looking at just Indiana Lakemaster is a poor choice, they don't even list the northern AC reservoirs. My 2c, good look.

Another suggestion, Go to Bass Pro or Cabela's and see if they will load it for you so you can see what each offers. When I was looking at Wisconsin Cabela's in Hammond did that for me.

I use my hand held delorme loaded with usgs topo software and also print it out on lakes i dont or cant buy maps for which is pretty accurate, so the navionics hot maps may be the feirst one i get as reading reviews off various websites that none of them are perfect in any state. Just wanted to know what everybody else was using in Indiana and figure its all weak at best for most lake coverage in this state.

I bought Navionics but I am not sure it is worth the money. It may be me being not using my equipment/electronics correctly, not sure. The maps preloaded seem to be just as good.
