Lake report for missy as of fri. The 22nd. The water is super clear. Visibility 5 ft in spots. Bite was very very slow for me and everybody i talked to. Finally found a few in 11 ft of water but nothing to brag about! Hopefully the boat traffic this weekend will put an end to the clear water! I'm sure there still in spaun just the weather messing things up

I went over yesterday late evening after some of the boats left and fished up until an hour after dark off the bank. Caught a few but the bite is still pretty slow for me as well. Had maybe 6 keepers but i just let em go. This has been an entirely different spring compared to last year for me at least. Last year the bite was really good for most of may, mostly all on jigs. This year it has been tough for me to get fish to hit a jig, i've got most of mine on minnows. I don't know if the cold snaps has just made them less aggressive or what.

After my Migraine allowed me get out yesterday we went to play with the ocean boats in my 16ft flat bottom... JEESH!!!!!! Slow day but towards evening we consistently caught crappie between 6 and 16ft while drifting. Most crappie still had eggs in them. Water is still amazing clear in most areas.
