Missy report 5/16

Went on yesterday morning, water was clear (for missy anyways) and 65*. Caught a lot of dinks around structure in 4'-6' deep water. Also few white bass and Lgmouth . Managed 12 keepers for the day. Males were black as black, and the few females I kept still had eggs in them; so thinking they're still spawning. Had a few sprinkles and a 5 mins. downpour, but still a good day out.

Got out last evening as well. Ended up keeping 11. Bite really got good again for me right before dark. Was slow before that. Bait shop was out of minnows so jig fished only and finally got a few fish to hit them this time. Majority of my catch were black crappie, only had one white one in the mess. Even the black females still were packed full of eggs. Thinking about heading back over in a few if the weather cooperates.
