Have you a favorite ramp there close to a good area? Thinking of trying Monroe. Don't need your spots, just recommendations on areas to start looking.

I would launch at the high water launch site of Cutright with the lake as high,, East Side of Saddle Creek had timber along it with crappies hanging,,west side will be all buck brush as well as back of it,,fish the skinny water,,but I have done really good long lining RR's in stained water, even picking up a occasional eye or cat using flo green, chartreuse, and yellow orange if the water is stained. Right across from launch,,entire north bank will be buck brushie cause of high water from causeway to point,,drown a minnow in the brush. Up Pine Grove area,,maybe try the buckbrush in it,,or long line it thru middle..as warm as the water is getting they have to be coming up finally. Just checked the hydrostats..and they started pulling 1000 cfs today out of the lake,,as East Fork drops,,they will increase the pull to 2000. Just have to get out of the dinks to find a good one. Post a report. I think you will find fishing better from noon till dark.

My buddy said he had a field day last night. Got a late bite and got a limit after wading through dinks. BG jigs and curly tails in various colors. He two timed me and fished with someone else on a private pit. Guess I will change my times to fish and find me a faithful fishing partner.

Had to make a trip to Indy today and buzzed by Cutright at Monroe to look the lake over as the area got couple of inches of rain by last nite. 7 trucks/trailers parked at high water launch. Took water temp with a portable Llorance temp gauge I keep in truck,,its accurate and in 2 diff places got 54 degrees on surface at both places. Water looked great tho,,cleared up a bunch at least. Wind was rough as main lake had whitecaps hitting the causeway bigtime. Hate to see this cool week of temps coming up this week.

Buddy "said" he got a limit on north side of slough (sp)right off road on north side Sunday. Don't know size. This cold front this week isn't going to help. Roons or slabs

Think you are right on Arkey. Dang wind is bad too, takes the fun out of it. Saw 3 boats on Dogwood yesterday. Anyone know why they are not opening the cleaning station at Dogwood? Spied some folks carrying a nice bag of big roons yesterday. That got my attention. Gotta go look.
