Folks those of you that have been following the Cataract Slab Masters tournaments this past summer, I have a story for you. As you recall we had a fellow fish our tourneys and he won 11 out of 13 of our tournaments. That fellow was Captain Dave. Today I thought I would take Ole Dave down to Monroe and fish off the docks at Paynetown. Surely I can beat him once this year. We walked out on dock A and immediately Dave is onto fish. There for awhile he was catching 3 to my one. I tried and tried but he still took my lunch money out on the docks. Folks this guy is the real deal. You can't beat him when it comes to fishing. We didn't have any monsters but did get a couple dozen that would stink up a biscuit. Around noon we went over to B dock and was in slips 4 through 11 and caught a few more fish. I was using a 1 1/2in blk/chrt tipped with a crappie nibblet. Fish were about 8ft down. The fish were up high over about 15 f.o.w. Dave was jigging a small and I mean small gold blade bait. It reminded me of the old "gay blade" baits. Anyway that was my story, you can't beat him. Till next time, Have a Merry Christmas. Bigarm
