Went bass fishing this morning, caught one, and started throwing a 3" tube bait. Caught a crappie, white bass, and some drum. No largemouth, but was seeing a ton of bait on the screen and white bass and crappie around them. Started crappie fishing, had 7 in the live well when the storm hit. Headed home, wife asked if we were eating fish tonight. Obviously that wasn't going to be enough fish, so a buddy and I went back out about noon for 2 hours. Caught another 15 or so, got rained on, and then the sun came out and with it the ski/tube/jet ski craft. He had to work at at 3:30, so headed in a little after 2.

Wife and I are going to have a nice fish fry now, and even though I'm starving I'm sure I'll be taking some fillets down to dad.

Crappie were in 10-20ft of water, most of them around 13-15 close to bottom. Caught them on tube and slab daddy jigs, no live bait needed. Nothing huge, but most over 10" and fat. Well there were a couple of huge white bass that got a ride home.
