ill tell ya why i dont. i found that people were fallowing me around. they see the sticker and lurked on here to see what i was posting. then i would see those boats at the lakes and spots i was fishing. i stopped posting most pictures and all locations on all fishing sites. this all started on a catfish site a few years ago. the commercial fishermen would scan the catfish site looking for pics and reports of trophy cats. then the guy would start seeing nets and traps in his river section. before long he was reporting how bad the fishing was getting. i urge everyone to keep their locations under wraps on the net or get over run with people that cant find fish/locations for themselves.(you know, the idiots that will pull rite up on you while fishing and invade your spot. there are a few of those no talent spot jumpers on here)the worst example was on the ice a couple years ago. a background picture got out of our crappie hot spot. the pic. was posted on friday and by noon monday there were 70+ fishermen on that spot! its fact not theory, that there are people that will ruin your spots you post. by the end of that ice season that spot was wiped out and ruined. people still fished it into the summer even trying to cash in. lol wasnt just the fish either. the trash left by all those losers was unbelievable and almost got parking shut off.
i still advertise to some fishermen that i feel deserve it. but most can sit n spin IMO. its too bad it has to be that way, i truly enjoy helping people catch more and bigger fish.
