Sallimonie Memorial Weekend

I had the chance to take some friends and their kids fishing over the weekend at the Salimonie. We had a great time. The fish seemed to be a bit scattered but we did manage to find a few that were willing to bite. Water temps were mid to upper 60's. The water level did drop about 5' while we were there, so I would imagine that didn't help the bite any. The kids all had a good time. I also got a written warning for having too many people in my boat. Does anyone know how to read the coast guard sticker? mine says a maximum capacity of 4 people or 600 lbs. We had 5 people in the boat total, but were probably over the 600 lb mark as well. I guess my question is for example if we have three people and are over the weight limit are we still in violation?

Plenty of smiles, great pics! Glad you got a chance to get them all out! As for the boating rules, if you are over the max number of people or the weight limit you are in violation, not a combination of the two.
