    Default Mississinewa or Salamonie?

I live about an hour south of both of these lakes and have never been to either. Over the years I've always fished Hardy, Brookville, or Summit. I have family in those areas and tend to always go were everyone is willing to meet up. Planning on checking out both Mississinewa and Salamonie this year, but interested in hearing opinions on them.

    Thanks.

Both are decent, I live closer to Missy so I go there more often, but I catch fish at either place. If i live closer to Sally i would go see her more often. To me it makes no difference.

I've lived on the Missy river for 29 years. Missy has had a better rep for numbers. Sally for size. Last few years Missy challenges Sally. But a good bud who is a Crappie assassin backs the reputation of both. He will find huge Crappie on Sally that not many find. The regional DNR biologist says Missy is a factory for Crappe and channel cat. I concur.
