Is the water at a good level/clarity at Eagle Creek good? Thinking about making a trip down this weekend but don't want to get down there and realize water conditions aren't right for fishing.

I fished there this past Sunday. Water was like chocolate milk. Should be somewhat better now. I may try again this weekend.

long line jigs down the west bank all the way to the north end following the west side of the channel. chartreuse or black/chartruse or yellow...or yellow/orange..hot pink...colors were always good to me on eagle creek when muddy.

I never use minnows long lining. Jig heads and Roadrunner spinners either 1/16th or1/8th oz. works for me depending how deep I want to go. Cast as far back is a good start and troll jigs from 0.4 to about 1.0 mph...in cold water,,,slow is better.

I did on Saturday and we caught some. Most of them were caught tight lining in about 10 feet of water. I see you are new to the board. Do you fish there much?
