​Water temp 54. G/F an I got about 15 we kept an 2 catfish. fish were about 4 to 6 ft in 9 to 10 ft deep. On brush. Bite was slow till about 6 pm then turned on. Crappie were 10 to 13 inches. Pics tomorrow. Tried gigs an it was slow. Minnows were better and a real lite bite. I mean a REAL LITE.

Boy, are the catfish on a bite at Boggs. Got a couple on my 10 foot crappie rods that were 3-4 lbers which is fun out in open water. Caught crappie out in 18-20 feet of water mid-week but did not get back to fish brush as I planned. I marked lots of fish moving up and some in brush. I was hoping to get back on the water Friday but could not but did go out late and bank fish for cats.
My fishin buddy had a great day in Illinois on Friday. We plan to try that small lake after church today if the wind stays decent. He was swimming very lite jigs on lite line.
