LOL, I think that quarry has only ONE Crappie who longs to be a celebrity and has capitalized on riding my hook. Since I photographed her and put her back several times, she's prolly still signing autographs! :)

I think the cruising fish theory is correct too. Just in case my ONE Crappie theory is right, I may bring my Sharpie and tattoo my initials on her, in order to test it. ;)

You tattoo one crappie and they will line up for you. Does the history of the pit dictate there are many crappie in it?

Hard to say, as I'm fairly new to the area and the quarry is located in a restricted section of the state penitentiary. I very rarely ever see anyone out there, and it's not open to the public. My best guess is yes, since it connects with a local creek that is full of crappie.

Get her a cell phone and she will be doing selfies to show off her tattoos and be acting like Miley Sinus. Better just eat her if she gets that bad!
