    Default Jig choices

Going to fish some marinas on the Ohio river Monday. Any tips for jig choices. I had been catching them well on a Strike King tooty fruity. But that was right before the cold snap. Wondering if that's a good option for cold water.
    Thanks

I have a lot more luck with small hair jigs, when the water is cold, like it is now. But could be just a confidence thing.

Bright color, Ohio was just up 25 ft over pool, yhe clear water and good quality is now gone. Gsp chartreuse and orange or red combo s is what I would try. Sauger bite great till the water quality goes away.

Good luck, let us know how you do.

Stayed with the tooty fruity and caught 30. Water color good in the creeks, but I prefer it stained. Caught em all under a float; fishing 18in to 4ft deep.

Had a lot like these Monday. The river has been pretty good to me past few weeks. I'm usually a bass fisherman, but these crappie got me fired up right now.
