On a similar note: Does anyone know if and when the work will be done on the west ramp at Clinton lake?

just got word they will work by the campground launch first so main launch is open for a week or more

checked out the shabbona lake ramp work sunday. they havent started on the boat ramps yet but have silt fencing and orange fencing set up. they did work on the sidewalk to somonauk bay where a new kayak launch will be. no work on the campground launch

talked to the workers on monday they may start the main two lane launch this week. they will be doing only one lane at a time so one can still launch there the campground launch is too shallow for bigger boats.

they poured concrete on sidewalks last week. they will have one of the two ramps open at the main launch. they are not replacing the concrete thats under water, just the ramp above or at the water line.

Well found out today the main launch is closed and work in progress. Campground launch is open but no work done yet. The lake is so low that caution is needed if you use it….<*\\><
