Highland silver lake.
Surface temp 60. Fished 10-1400. 13 trailers at the ramp when I got there, considering there’s only 6 dedicated trailer spots, it was packed. Some of those where waterfowlers. Some kayaks out as well.
Only managed 4 fish, one keeper at 11”. I started out pushing jigs on the spillway, wasn’t marking many.
Switched to jigging trees, nada. Casting to trees, nothing. Had a snafu, drifted off the bank, marked fish. Tried jigging them, nothing. Slow rolled, and I mean SLOW, a fin spin with a green chartreuse jig, got two shorts. That stopped.
Went back too pushing jigs, off the bank. The rig was a jig, two ounce weight, crankbait. .6-1.2mph. 3rd non keeper and the keeper, both on jigs.
